India to Build World's Tallest Building

Jun 29, BRAHMASTHAN, MADHYA PRADESH (SUN) — India will soon be a home to the world's tallest building. The site of the building is 50 kilometers Northeast of Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, in Brahmasthan, or the exact centre point, of India. At 2,222 feet, the World Centre of Vedic Learning is being planned by the Maharishi Vedic Vishwa Prashasan Ragadhani.

It will be more than 700 feet taller than Petronas Towers in Kaula Lampur, the current record holder. The new World Centre of Vedic Learning will be 1,111 feet is its base, and will be many times larger in mass than any existing tall building. It will have more than 30 million sq. ft. of livable space on 160 floors.
