Rumors of Damage to Srila Prabhupada's
Pushpa Samadhi

Jan 21, 2011 — CANADA (SUN) — Reports have been circulating in the community of devotees about an alleged construction incident at Sridham Mayapur which may have resulted in severe damage to the basement of Srila Prabhupada's Pushpa Samadhi.

The unconfirmed reports suggest that the damage was done by vibrations from construction drilling or blasting. The damage is thought to have been discovered in November 2010, and may have made the structure vulnerable to collapse.

Any devotees with information that can either confirm or deny the story -- informing the devotees of the problem or putting their minds to rest -- are encouraged to submit that information to the Sun.
