Jun 10, INDIA (SUN) — By the will and instructions of Srila Gurudev, His Divine Grace Bhaktisvarupa Damodara Maharaj, Srila Bhakti Madhava Puri Maharaj became the President of the Bhaktivedanta Institute (BI) Managing Council after the disappearance of Srila Bhaktisvarupa Damodara Maharaj, who is the International Director by Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada's order. Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada established BI to educate people about science of the soul and science of God by scientific presentation of Krsna consciousness. His Divine Grace Bhaktisvarupa Damodara Maharaj sacrificed his life in carrying out this order of Srila Prabhupada, and met with so much success that the enemies of truth felt threatened that he would take from them the illusions that they so eagerly cherished. Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu became as enraged as Lord Narasimha Dev when Nityananda Prabhu was attacked by Jagai and Madhai, but Lord Nityananda magnanimously reminded Mahaprabhu that his mission in Kali Yuga was not to kill the demons but to mercifully save them, for all are fallen in this age. The followers of Srila Bhaktisvarupa Damodar Maharaj are many, and although, by the Will of Krsna, Srila Bhaktisvarupa Damodar Maharaj has been withdrawn to his eternal pastimes, there is an army of his followers willing to sacrifice their lives to carry on his mission in this world. With the blessings of all the Vaisnavas, in a spirit of unified and firm resolve and dedication, we pray that those who are willing and able to take up the service of Bhaktivedanta Institute may become glorious in fulfilling the desires of Srila Prabhupada and Srila Bhaktisvarupa Damodara Maharaj.
Srila Gurudev Maharaj wanted us to take spiritual guidance from HH Bhakti Madhava Puri Maharaj to carryout the scientific preaching services under the banner of BI. HH Bhakti Madhava Puri Maharaj is one of the original founding members of BI and direct disciple of Srila Prabhupada and Srila Sridhar Maharaj. As disciples of Maharaj we have taken shelter of him and he has kindly agreed to give us spiritual guidance, which we appreciate greatly and want to share with others. We are doing scientific preaching under his guidance, publishing literature and engaging scientists in the service of the mission of BI.
HH Bhakti Madhava Puri Maharaj has been showering unlimited mercy on many fallen souls by organizing and rendering preaching services for the satisfaction of our Guru Varga. HH Bhakti Madhava Puri Maharaj is the senior most devotee scientist of Bhaktivedanta Institute. Many sincere souls of scholarly and intellectual background are getting inspired by Maharaj’s scientific presentation on Krsna consciousness and they are applying Krsna consciousness in their day to day life to achieve the real goal of human form of life.
HH Bhakti Madhava Puri Maharaj recently encouraged the South India preaching program on May 2009, under the auspicious guidance of Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj. Srila Bhakti Sundar Govinda Dev-Goswami Maharaj is the president Acharya deva of Sri Chaitanya Saraswat Math (www.scsmath.com), which was established in 1941 by His Divine Grace Srila Bhakti Rakshak Sridhar Dev-Goswami Maharaj, who is the respected Godbrother and Siksa Guru of His Divine Grace, Srila A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. You can see the video of Srila A. C.
