Burn the Heretics

In response to Suvarnamanjari prabhu's recent article, "Sri Nama Prabhu Ki Jay!",
no one would or could disagree with Mataji on the principle of taking shelter of the Holy Name.
That is not my issue…
If Mataji remembers, my posting, "Publicly Representing ISKCON", was in response to Govinda das's article, "Invisible Hare Krishnas".
The point I was trying to get across was why many of us, at this point in time, hesitate to be seen in public representing ISKCON.
Privately in our own homes we do take shelter of the Holy Name.
It used to be (at least when I went on Harinama) that invitations were passed out… come to our temple... come to Srila Prabhupada's ISKCON institution.
The same principle applies to book distribution.
Generally in all ISKCON literature, the addresses or contact details of an ISKCON temple near you are provided.
Sadly…
there are many of us who have become disillusioned by the behaviour and direction in which our ISKCON leadership is taking us.
(I use my own case as an example many times, although I have learned many others share a similar experience.)
Although we are a society supposedly dedicated to self-realisation,
our ISKCON leadership just cannot stand criticism.
As a rule...
they position themselves as an infallible entity...
arrogant…
"The ultimate managerial authority" beyond the critique of lesser souls.
Anyone who should dare to point out the blatant deviations (or even criminal behaviour in ISKCON ) from the teachings of HDG AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada is considered a heretic worthy of being excluded from Srila Prabhupada's ISKCON.
The forum for intelligent discussion or debate within Srila Prabhupada's ISKCON has been removed.
And yes... once again... I can prove it with evidence.
So... if we care enough to speak up on behalf of Srila Prabhupada's ISKCON,
one should know what to expect from the ISKCON leadership.
The bottom line is…
after our ISKCON experience…
yes... we are enthusiastic about the Holy Name,
but…
would you want to send someone you cared about
to be part of such an institution?
