The Dasavatara Embroidery Kit features patterns and materials for you to stitch all ten of the Visnu Avataras: Matsya, Kurma, Varaha, Nrsimha, Vamana, Parasurama, Rama, Balarama, Buddha and Kalki.
Everything you need is included in the kit:
- High quality off-white linen fabric
- Wooden embroidery hoop
- Embroidery needles
- Top quality embroidery thread, in all the colors needed for the patterns
- Ten embroidery patterns for you to sew featuring each of the Visnu incarnations
- Basic instructions on how to proceed (very simple!)
If you've never embroidered, here's the perfect way to start-out. These patterns are easy to follow, and even if you've never sewn before your finished product will be lovely! Sew for just an hour in the evenings, and it takes only four or five evenings to finish a pattern.
Once you're finished, just press the fabric, turn the edges under, and use to adorn an altar cloth, wall hanging, or other devotional item.
Pattern sizes are for 6" to 7" embroidered figures.
