"Legalizing" HH Murali Krsna Swami's Sannyasa

Dec 16, INDIA (SUN) — In response to recent articles posted on various Vaisnava websites regarding H.H. Murali Krsna Swami, I wanted to inform the readers about Maharaja's present situation surrounding his sannyas in ISKCON.
I have been associating and preaching with H.H. Murali Krsna Swami for the last three years and I can assure you that he is 100% dedicated to serving Srila Prabhupada's ISKCON and following H.H. Srila Gour Govinda Swami Maharaja's personal instruction to him, "Never to leave ISKCON". He has been vigorously preaching around the world as a sannyasi for the last 3 years and has hundreds of devotees wanting to associate and work with him in spreading Mahaprabhu's Movement under the ISKCON flag.
Some ISKCON leaders are presently working with Maharaja to normalize his sannyas status within ISKCON. He did take sannyas initiation and sannyas mantra from his senior ISKCON sannyas godbrother, H.H. Svayambhu Swami Maharaja, an elder disciple of Srila Gour Govinda Swami Maharaja, also from Orissa India. It has yet to be formally accepted and Maharaja is working with the ISKCON Leadership to "legalize" his sannyas status within the Movement.
