Prabhupada's Vani Appearing (then being
flogged off)

Jul 16, 2010 EUROPE (SUN) In response to the recent article by Visnumurti and Laksmipriya about getting an original Indian-printed Bhagavatam by His Divine Grace -- buying it for 7Euros and then flogging it for a 1008 Euros -- all I have to say is… typical. Something as priceless as that and the first thing that pops into Visnumurti's mind is HOW MUCH PROFIT CAN I MAKE OUT OF THIS?
Laksmipriya your reaction is typical of a devotee, let's get it at any price, but can't you see how you were manipulated by your new husband? Of course, I don't know the real motive for the much-hyped Vanipedia, maybe I'm just an envious snake, but my experience of BLS is that they've been SELLING THE VEDAS for a huge profit.
After buying every new book as soon as it came out, at top notch price, only later were they sold as complete sets at a much reduced rate. But did anyone at BLS ever consider that after buying all the books I've got from you, never once did anyone consider giving me some sort of decent discount? What ever happened to Srila Prabhupada's order that devotees should not profiteer from other devotees? Wasn't it supposed to be a maximum 10% profit?
By the way, the hugely expensive book of pictures of ISKCON Deities contains many Deities installed by the successor acaryas. Weren't those installed By His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada good or tall enough? I mean, it must be so much more intimate serving GIANT Deities, like those at Mayapur, instead of small or even human-sized ones. Seems like Hindu-schmindus have taken over all of ISKCON. Oh Srila Prabhupada, no wonder you left us after translating only 13 out of 90 chapters of the 10th canto. Just like Srila Bhaktisiddhanta left the planet early in disgust.
