Which Bhagavad-gita As It Is is the authorized version? The revised version with the blue cover, the revised version with the yellow cover, or the original McMillan version? What are the GBC members allowed to speak from? (Concerned inquirer into the nature of the Absolute Truth)
I see that the new Mayapur Temple of the Vedic Planetarium is planning an altar for the Guru Parampara, along with one for Radha Madhava and one for the Panchatattva. Is the altar for the Sampradaya Acaryas, or is it for the GBC "not disapproved" gurus? Who actually are the worshipable gurus that will appear on this altar? (Concerned possible donor)
Apparently the GBC body claims to be Srila Prabhupada, because they consider themselves to be the ultimate authority for ISKCON. How is it that 95% of Srila Prabhupada's disciples cannot see this non-difference? How is it that so many of the disciples of failed-attempt ISKCON gurus did not get what the GBC promised, and cannot see this non-difference? How is it that the majority of aspiring devotees who have been involved in ISKCON leave with a bad taste? Srila Prabhupada left everyone he met in amazement for positive reasons, while the GBC body seems to leave everyone in amazement for the way they fail to properly lead (follow). So how can this claim to "be" Srila Prabhupada be true? And if it's not true, how can this false claim be tolerated by so many aspiring devotees? (Concerned member of Srila Prabhupada's greater family)
Isn't the true position of the GBC body meant to be a collection of respected devotees chosen to represent a given group of aspiring devotees by making the best offerings of service and service proposals for the pleasure of Srila Prabhupada? Don't they gather to find out if the Spiritual Master is pleased, and to determine what to do in order to best please him—Srila Prabhupada? Isn't a GBC member a middle man, a representative of the aspiring devotees to Srila Prabhupada, and a representative of Srila Prabhupada to the aspiring devotees? (Concerned desirer of cooperation for the pleasure of Srila Prabhupada)
Who and what are we actually bringing people to when we introduce them to ISKCON? (Concerned member of the Sankirtan movement)
