A Hunch About Balavidya

Apr 19, USA (SUN) — Anyone who is engaged in any type of debate or deep discussion about anything naturally likes to know who they are reciprocating with. So on the Sun website, we like to have light shone on all those involved. Like Harakumara dasa, I have also contemplated about Balavidya's identity. But because he doesn't want to reveal it to all the readers, then one has to wonder about his motives.
One quality of a devotee is being straightforward in one's dealings. That is what we want to see from all devotees who present articles on this website, especially if one wants to use the hatchet technique of writing about spiritual matters.
Gurukripa dasa gave me a hint about Balavidya when he mentioned in one of his articles, that I can't find now, that he can see that one of his friends, Baladeva Vidyabhusana dasa has been writing articles on the Sampradaya Sun. So I thought about that and I didn't recall seeing any articles by a Baladeva Vidyabhusana dasa. And then I realized that Balavidya is a short title for Baladeva Vidyabhusana dasa (ACBSP).

P.S. In my article, "Peacock Feathers", the second quote from Ananda Vrndavana Campu, starting with "Beautiful peacock feathers caress Their crowns..." is on page 171 of that book. Sorry for the typo.
