Game Over for The Earth Globe
BY: MAYESVARA DASA
Oct 01, 2020 IRELAND (SUN) PART ONE
The following paper is a review of a promotional video by the Temple of Vedic Planetarium (TOVP) called Temple of Vedic Planetarium Chandelier Presentation, posted on YouTube, July 22, 2015.
In this paper we shall show how representatives of the Temple Of Vedic Planetarium unconsciously present the Srimad Bhagavatam's flat-Earth concept (Bhu-mandala), whilst officially denying that the flat-Earth exists.
The TOVP representatives along with other members of ISKCON meanwhile continue to promote an idea that is contrary to Srimad Bhagavatam's teachings, namely, that Bharata-varsha (which is located in Jambudvipa) is a so-called Earth-globe floating in space. In this paper we shall demonstrate, hopefully once and for all, why the game is over for those attempting to argue that the Earth-globe idea is part of the Vedic cosmos as it is described in the Srimad Bhagavatam and other Puranas. The correct presentation of Bhu-mandala at the Temple of Vedic Planetarium in 2022 will not only signal the end of the game for those members of ISKCON who are attached to the Earth-globe conception, it will signal the end of the game for the entire modern secular culture that has been built on this false construct of reality (see section below, 'Earth in the age of Transcendence').
CHECKMATE
Checkmate refers to a position in chess in which a player's king is attacked by the opponent in such a way that there is no possible move that the king can make in order to avoid capture. In the image below we see the black king cornered by the white king and queen.
This position means that the black king is unable to make a move without it being a cause of his defeat—hence checkmate! For those who understand the rules of chess, there is no arguing with a checkmate—it means the game is over! Likewise, the game is over for those members of ISKCON who are attempting to argue that the so-called Earth globe is part of the original teachings of Srimad Bhagavatam. Just as a king faced with checkmate has no place to move on the chessboard, we shall similarly show why the Earth-globe has no position or place to move in the Vedic cosmos. Let us continue with our example of a chess game in order to illustrate the point.
A game of chess operates according to certain rules. A chess player must first learn how the chess pieces move before a competent game can proceed. During the course of the game a chess player obviously cannot invent their own manner of moving the pieces—indeed the player is bound by the rules of the game regarding such movements. The queen, for example, moves differently from a king, and a pawn moves differently from a knight, etc. A bishop can only move in a diagonal manner across the chess board, whereas the rook can move in a vertical and horizontal manner, but never in a diagonal manner like a bishop. If a chess player decides to move the bishop horizontally or vertically across the board, or if he decides to move the rook in a diagonal manner, such a player is no longer playing chess.
In a similar way, the Vedic planets are arranged and move in a certain order, and one is bound by the rules of shastra (scripture) to understand and present the planets, their relation to one another, and movements in a manner that is consistent with how they are described in the shastra. If one decides to arrange and move the Earth, Sun, and Moon according to a different cosmological system then one is no longer presenting Vedic cosmology. As we shall see, the attempt by certain members of ISKCON to introduce the modern Earth globe idea into Vedic cosmology has resulted in them presenting the Earth, Sun, and Moon in a way that completely contradicts the description given in Srimad Bhagavatam. Basically members of ISKCON are trying to play a game of cosmic chess, but without adhering to the rules of how the planets are arranged and move according to the Vedic system. In order to understand what is going wrong in the presentation, let us first look at the Earth, Sun, and Moon as they are originally described in Srimad Bhagavatam. And what better place to hear about the Earth, Sun, and Moon than from the Temple of Vedic Planetarium itself…
THE EARTH ACCORDING TO THE TEMPLE OF VEDIC PLANETARIUM
At the time of writing, Antardvipa dasa is credited on the official Temple Of Vedic Planetarium website as being the 'Director of Research' for the Vedic planetarium; he also narrates the following description of the Earth in the Temple of Vedic Planetarium Chandelier Presentation:
Antardvipa dasa: "So at the bottom of the planetary display we have Sesha holding up the Earth…Here we can see Jambudvipa the central island of Bhu-mandala, and Bharata-varsha is situated on the southern side of that. There are eight other varshas with Ilavrita varsha in the center, various supporting mountains with larger trees upon them described in Srimad Bhagavatam. In the very center of Ilavrita-varsha is Mount Meru, a golden Mountain. On top of Mount Meru are the cities of important demigods with Lord Brahma in the center… Moving out we can see the broader Bhu-mandala with seven concentric islands and oceans surrounding them…
Above Bhu-mandala is Bhuvarloka which is the residence of the Charanas, Siddhas, Yakshas, Gandharvas, and above there is Svargaloka beginning with the sun and extending up to the Polestar Druvaloka. This is the moving part of the display. Here we can see the Sun and the Moon moving in their chariots."
In the above narration we have the Temple Of Vedic Planetarium's official presentation of Srimad Bhagavatam's cosmology which acknowledges the following points regarding the Earth:
(1) Ananta-Sesha holds up 'the Earth' (meaning the Bhu-mandala)
(2) Jambudvipa is the central island of Bhu-mandala, and Bharata-varsha is situated on the southern side of Jambudvipa.
(3) Jambudvipa is part of a larger Earth comprising seven islands and seven oceans which have a concentric formation. [These islands and oceans are measured in Srimad Bhagavatam at 202,800,000 miles].
(4) The Sun and the Moon rotate above the Earth-circle.
As we shall see, these four points actually establish that the Vedic Earth is a flat-Earth, not a globe. By 'flat-Earth' we mean a landscape that continues along a horizontal or level plane, not one that curves around a supposed sphere. The Vedic flat-Earth appears as a gigantic circular landscape that is held by an expansion of Sri-Krishna called Ananta-sesha; it does not appear as a flattened version of the so-called Earth-globe that is supposedly floating in space. In part 1 of this paper we shall look at the first of these four points.
(1) ANANTA-SESHA HOLDS THE EARTH
In his narration to the video, Antardvipa dasa first of all states: "So at the bottom of the planetary display we have Sesha holding up the Earth". The image below from the Temple of Vedic Planetarium Chandelier Presentation shows the multi-headed serpent called Ananta-sesha holding the Earth-circle at its base. Ananta is also shown in personified form as He speaks to the Four Kumaras.
The image below from Danavir Goswami's Vedic Cosmos documentary, likewise, shows Ananta-sesha holding the Bhu-mandala from below.
The scene in the above image shows Kurma on the surface of the Garbhodaka Ocean. Ananta-Sesha is resting on Kurma and the Bhu-mandala is held on the hoods of Ananta-sesha. The Srimad Bhagavatam does not mention the role of Kurma as the support of Ananta-sesha, however, many verses do confirm that Ananta-Sesha holds the Earth-circle itself. In a paper called, Does the Earth Float in Space?, we have compiled various verses from Srimad Bhagavatam that describe Ananta-sesha holding the Earth.
WHAT WAS THAT YOU JUST SAID?
Let us listen again to Antardvipa dasa's opening statement: "So at the bottom of the planetary display we have Sesha holding up the Earth". Hold on a moment! If members of ISKCON such as Antardvipa dasa or Danavir Goswami actually believe that Ananta-sesha holds up 'the Earth' (Bhu-mandala) as they clearly depict in their videos, then why do they continue to present the idea that 'the Earth' in question takes the form of an Earth globe floating in space? What Earth are they talking about when they talk about an Earth-globe? There are not two Earths in Vedic cosmology.
When members of ISKCON speak of the Earth as a globe, what exactly is this Earth globe meant to correspond to in Vedic cosmology? When the original Vedic authorities such as Srila Vyasadeva spoke of 'the Earth', they were referring to the gigantic Bhu-mandala that is held by Ananta-sesha, not to an Earth globe floating in space. Moreover, Bharata-varsha is a series of nine islands on the surface area of Bhu-mandala—not 'the Earth' itself (see the discussion in part 2 of this paper regarding Bharata-varsha's location in Jambudvipa). Thus neither the colossal Bhu-mandala held by Ananta-sesha, nor Bharata-varsha which is a series of islands at the south of Jambudvipa corresponds in any way to the modern Earth-globe idea. Since the Temple of Vedic Planetarium is meant to educate members of ISKCON about the factual situation of the Earth as Srimad Bhagavatam describes it, why are most of the members of the society still under the impression that 'the Earth' is a globe floating in space? Is no one at all surprised to hear Antardvipa dasa announce that 'the Earth' is actually a circular landscape held by Ananta-sesha?
Members of ISKCON remain in a state of confusion and doubt regarding the Srimad Bhagavatam's description of the Earth mostly because the transmission of information about the Earth—such as the above description of Ananta-sesha—is generally presented to members of the society more as a conceptual idea than as a description of reality. Although Srimad Bhagavatam reveals Ananta-sesha as the true, real, and factual support of the Earth that we live upon, it is a point that is rarely emphasized. As long as ISKCON's preachers are careful to retain the globe ideology whilst lecturing on Ananta-sesha, no one is disturbed by the mention of Ananta-sesha's role in holding up the Earth; indeed by explaining away the actual Earth (Bhu-mandala) as 'higher dimensional', everyone's sense of reality that we live on a globe floating in space remains unchallenged. However, the Srimad Bhagavatam's description of Ananta-sesha holding the circular Earth is a direct challenge to the idea that we live on a globe floating in space. As we enter the age of transcendence, Srimad Bhagavatam has manifested to break an illusion regarding the true shape and size of the Earth that we live upon. The description of Ananta-sesha holding the Earth is a teaching that all devotees of Sri-Krishna must eventually come to terms with as we progress in our understanding of the transcendental reality. If the devotees of Sri-Krishna truly accept the description of the Earth as it is given in Srimad Bhagavatam, then it should be clear that the Earth is not what we have been told by so-called scientists.
DOES ANTARDVIPA DASA BELIEVE HIS OWN STATEMENT?
The Temple of Vedic Planetarium Chandelier Presentation was released in July 2015, but how many members of ISKCON at this point in September 2020 believe that the Earth is a circular disc held by a thousand-headed serpent? Please raise your hands! How many members of the management of the Temple of Vedic Planetarium believe that the Earth is a circular disc held by a thousand-headed serpent? Please raise your hands! Does Antardvipa dasa even believe his own statement: "At the bottom of the planetary display we have Sesha holding up the Earth"? Antardvipa dasa is actually a staunch defender of the Earth-globe ideology, so one really does wonder how Anatardvipa dasa can truthfully believe his own statement. If we were to ask Antardvipa dasa or any other member of ISKCON to think of 'the Earth' would he or she immediately think of the Earth as an Earth-circle that is held by Ananta-sesha, or would he or she think of it as an Earth-globe floating in dark space? If we give out a pencil and paper and ask everyone to draw a sketch of the Earth, will anyone even think of including Ananta-sesha or the Bhu-mandala, or will everyone simply draw a sketch of the so-called Earth globe?
If we had asked someone in India a few centuries ago to paint a picture of the Earth, they would have depicted Ananta-sesha holding the Bhu-mandala as seen in the image below:
The above image shows Kurma supporting Ananta-sesha who in turn holds the flat-Earth on His hoods. One may think of the depiction as quite primitive and simplistic, however, it does successfully convey the artist's understanding that Ananta-sesha holds a flat-Earth, not that the artist thought of the Earth as a globe-shaped planet floating in dark space. One can only imagine what spectacular effects can be created using modern computer animation that can render an accurate scale model of Ananta-sesha-holding the Bhu-mandala with seven islands and oceans, etc. An accurate realistic-looking model of the Bhu-mandala has yet to be presented by the TOVP.
Those devotees of Sri-Krishna who have been conditioned into believing that the Earth is a globe floating in space (as depicted in NASA's images) may falsely assume that Ananta-sesha holds the Earth by some kind of magical force like gravity—not that He literally holds a gigantic Earth-circle on His thousand hoods. Such a conclusion is due to the influence of the atheistic globe ideology which causes an impersonal understanding of both Bhu-mandala and Ananta-sesha. The Puranas teach that Ananta-sesha literally holds the Earth on His head. The word 'head' or 'hood' is specifically used in the following statement by Sukadeva Goswami:
Here it says that the Earth (bhu-gola) is fixed just like an atom on one of the thousand hoods of Ananta-sesha. Srila Prabhupada's word for word translation reads:
murdhani—on a hood or head; arpitam—fixed; anu-vat—just like an atom; sahasra-murdhnah—of Ananta, who has thousands of hoods; bhu-golam—the universe
In the above translation Srila Prabhupada has chosen to convey the idea that Ananta-sesha is holding the universe, not the Earth itself—thus one may easily miss the specific detail that Ananta-sesha is, in fact, holding the Earth. Bhu-gola is a common name for the Earth, and Srila Prabhupada has translated Bhu-gola as 'the Earth' in many different places (see, for example, SB 10.8.37-39). In chapter 23 of the fifth canto, Sukadeva Goswami states that all the planets and stars in the universe float and move by the power of Vayu (see SB 5.23.3). The Earth, however, is an exception since it is personally held by Lord Ananta-sesha; indeed it is stated that the Lord holds the Earth as a pastime, yo lilaya ksmam sthitaye bibharti (SB 5.25.13). Here the word for Earth is ksmam. There are many other verses which describe Ananta-sesha holding the Bhu-mandala (see, for example, SB 6.16.48 and SB 10.68.46). A more detailed study of these verses can be found in the above link to the paper entitled, Does the Earth Float in Space?
By understanding that Ananta-sesha specifically holds the Earth, we now have a very different understanding of the Earth in question—the Vedic Earth is held by Ananta-sesha, it is not floating in space. One may wonder why we should wish to present a different emphasis regarding Ananta-sesha's role from the one presented in the above translation by Srila Prabhupada. The reason is based on Srila Prabhupada's instruction to to 'carefully study the details of the 5th Canto and make a working model of the universe' (Letter to Svarupa Damodara, Auckland, 27 April, 1976). In order to make an accurate three dimensional model of the Vedic universe, we have to correctly present Ananta-sesha's role as the holder of the Earth-circle. Moreover, all explanations for cosmic phenomena such as day and night, the seasons, the eclipse, etc., must be based on the Srimad Bhagavatam's teachings that the Earth is a circular landscape held by Ananta-sesha—not that members of the society can jump back and forth between the Vedic and modern conceptions of the Earth as if they are one and the same thing, when in fact they are two very descriptions of reality.
Since 'the Earth' is unequivocally described in Srimad Bhagavatam and the other Puranas as a huge circular landscape that is held by Ananta-sesha, surely that description should be the basis for what Sri-Krishna's devotees understand as 'the Earth'. Unfortunately, ISKCON's emphasis on the idea that the Earth is a globe floating in space effectively ignores, overrides, and negates the Srimad Bhagavatam's description of the Earth as a colossal circular plane held by an expansion of Sri-Krishna in the form of a divine serpent. Indeed, any depiction of the Earth as a globe floating in dark space not only impersonalizes the massive Bhu-mandala and the uncountable number of living beings who live upon it (thus reinforcing the idea that we live in a vacant, dark, and lifeless universe), it also impersonalizes Lord Ananta-sesha who is simply removed from the scene. Thus whilst many members of ISKCON may offer namaskara to Ananta-sesha, lecture on His glories, and install His Deity in the foundations of temples, etc., we have to question what real faith members of the society actually place in Ananta-sesha as the support of the Earth we stand upon.
Since the Temple Of Vedic Planetarium in the above instance correctly presents the Srimad Bhagavatam's description that Ananta-Sesha holds up the Earth (which is in the form of a gigantic circular disc), why do representatives of the TOVP along with most other members of ISKCON not stick consistently with this description of Earth? Instead we find that most members of the society still focus on the modern idea that 'the Earth' is a globe floating in space, and certainly not a circular landscape that is held up by Ananta-sesha. We invariably find that when members of the society give discourses on 'Vedic cosmology' they insert the modern Earth globe idea into so-called 'Vedic cosmology' as if the Puranas are describing two conceptions of Earth, when in fact, only one conception of Earth is ever presented—namely the one being described above as the Bhu-mandala (Earth circle). Bhu-mandala is the name for the gigantic Earth-circle that is held by Ananta-sesha, it is not the name of a so-called Earth globe. And as we shall see in part 2 of this paper, Bharata-varsha is the name of a place upon the Earth-circle, not the name of the Earth itself. Thus neither Bhu-mandala or Bharata-varsha correlates in any way with the modern idea that the Earth is a globe floating in space. Surely, the fact that Srimad Bhagavatam describes our known part of the Earth (in Bharata-varsha) as a small part of a much larger Earth plane is the point that everyone in ISKCON should be focusing on. Why is this massive disclosure of the Earth's true nature being ignored? It's as if the 'earth-shattering' information that we live on a huge circular Earth is not as important as the need to maintain faith in the idea that we live on a globe floating in space.
EARTH IN THE AGE OF TRANSCENDENCE
Considering all of the tumultuous and disturbing events of 2020, one may wonder why we continue to discuss such a seemingly abstract and unrelated concept as the shape of the Earth. The answer is that the Srimad Bhagavatam's revelation of the true shape and size of the Earth is part of the sweeping conscious changing events that are about to radically transform the world and bring about a new spiritual civilization. The coming to light of Srimad Bhagavatam's awesome revelation of the true shape and size of the Earth is not unrelated to the spectacular appearance of the Supreme Personality of Godhead in the form of transcendental sound vibration (the Hare Krishna mantra). In 1965 Srila Prabhupada left India, and began his transcendental mission to manifest the Holy Name of God throughout the world. The year 1965 thus marked the beginning of Sri-Krishna's divine appearance as Nama Avatara in the lands outside of India.
kali kale nama rupe krsna avatara
nama haite haya sarva jagat nistara
"In this Age of Kali, the holy name of the Lord, the Hare Krsna maha-mantra, is the incarnation of Lord Krsna. Simply by chanting the holy name, one associates with the Lord directly. Anyone who does this is certainly delivered." (CC Adi 17.22)
In 1974, during a conversation with an anxious Dr Patel, Srila Prabhupada proclaimed that the incarnation of Godhead (Nama Avatar) is already present on the Earth:
Dr. Patel: Dharma-samsthapanarthaya. He must again become. Sambhavami yuge yuge. We must see that He comes. We are all praying sincerely that "Let God come now. Enough of this time!"
Srila Prabhupada: He has come already.
Dr. Patel: That is why some people say that...
Prabhupada: Yes.
Dr. Patel: ...Kalki-avatara is born with...
Prabhupada: Not Kalki-avatara. This Hari-nama avatara. Yes. Nama-rupe kali-kale krishna avatara. Krishna, in this age, He has descended in the form of Hare Krishna. Nama-rupe kali-kale krishna avatara. The name is already there. It is being propounded all over the world.
(Morning Walk, February, 1974, Bombay)
The divine appearance of Sri-Sri Radha-Krishna in the form of the Nama Avatara, and the auspicious appearance of millions of Vaishnavas upon the Earth, certainly indicates that the downfall of the asura system is imminent. Sri-Krishna says:
"To deliver the pious and to annihilate the miscreants, as well as to reestablish the principles of religion, I Myself appear, millennium after millennium." (Bg 4.8)
As Sri-Krishna systematically destroys the current asura system (vinashaya ca duskrtam), and gradually restores dharma to its rightful place (dharma-samsthapanarthaya), the truth of things will naturally manifest—this will include, of course, the truth about the Earth that we live upon. The current tribulation through-out the world is simply the death throes of the asura system that has kept people in a state of spiritual darkness regarding the nature of God, life, and the universe. This generation will certainly witness the downfall of the asura system, and the birth of a new spiritual civilization based on the yuga-dharma—the chanting of the Holy Names of God. Lord Krishna has declared:
yuga-dharma pravartaimu nama-sankirtana
cari bhava-bhakti diya nacamu bhuvana
"I shall personally inaugurate the religion of the age—nama-sankirtana, the congregational chanting of the holy name. I shall make the world dance in ecstasy, realizing the four mellows of loving devotional service. (Caitanya-caritamrita, Adi-lila, 3.19)
The Lord further states that He will destroy the asura civilization:
pasandi samharite mora ei avatara
pasandi samhari' bhakti karimu pracara
"I have appeared in this incarnation to kill the demons [pasandis] and, after killing them, to preach the cult of devotional service." (Caitanya-caritamrita, Adi-lila, 17.53)
In the Chaitanya Mangala by Locana dasa Thakura, the nature of Sri Chaitanya's demon killing is explained.
"In Navadvipa, in Jagannatha Misra's house near the Ganga, I will take birth in Saci's womb. This avatara will not be like the other avataras. In the other avataras I conquer the Earth to kill the demons. Then My form is great, My weapons are great, and My demon adversaries are great. Fighting great battles, I kill the demons. I crush them to powder. But now everyone is a demon at heart. Now I will not cut them to pieces with My word. How can I attack them with My weapons? I will show them My holy names, My glories and transcendental qualities, My sankirtana movement, and the power of My Vaishnava devotees, I will show them the glory of the ecstatic spiritual love the devotees feel for Me. In this way I will destroy the sins of Kaliyuga. All of you please go there before Me. Go, and I will follow. Don't hesitate. Wielding the sharp sword of nama-sankirtana (chanting the holy names), I will cut to pieces the demonic desires in their hearts. If the sinners flee far away, the great devotees who are generals* in My armies will pursue them. I will plunge the whole world in the nectar of ecstatic spiritual love for Me. Not a single particle of suffering or grief will remain. Into that nectar I will plunge the demigods and all the moving and unmoving beings." Hearing these words, Locana dasa is now filled with bliss."
(Locan dasa Thakura, Chaitanya Mangala, Grantharambha, Song 12, verses 558-567)
*One of Lord Chaitanya's generals is, of course, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Srila Prabhupada pursued the fallen living entities through-out the world, and taught them how to chant and dance in ecstatic love of Sri-Krishna.
By the grace of Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, those souls who are approaching the end of their material existence will be taking birth in Bharata-varsha, and preparing to go back home, back to Godhead. The awakening of Krishna consciousness in the living entities will certainly lead to miraculous changes in the world as foretold by Sri Nammalvar:
"The Lord of Vaikuntha has incarnated as His devotee(s). He is miraculously present everywhere and his incomparable and unsurpassed activities alone occupy my vision. Have no doubts if you are born as asuras or rakshasas, engrossed in sense gratification there is no way for you to live and will certainly be destroyed." (Tiruvaimoli 5.2.5)
"The Supreme Lord, the holder of the Sudarshana disc, has come himself in the form of His devotees to rid the world of the soul-consuming disease, war, hunger, and evil. He is traveling all over the world. Singing in joy and dancing. O worldly minded people cease your engagements in sense gratification, go worship him with full consciousness and dedicate your life and soul." (Tiruvaimoli 5.2.6)
"The ill-effects of Kali-yuga have ceased and a new golden age of sankirtan-yajna has begun. The demigods have also joined the movement and the whole world is flooded with love of Godhead. The devotees of Kadalvannan have entered and occupied every corner of the Earth and are singing the name, fame and the glories of the Lord with great joy and enchantment". (Tiruvaimoli 5.2.3, From A Divine Prophecy: Sri Nammalvar's Predictions on Lord Chaitanya by Sridhara Srinivasa dasa, 2017)
The removal of the asura system will bring an end to the great illusions that prevent the living entities from making a complete informed choice between Sri-Krishna and the world of maya. In order to facilitate the living entities in their progressive path back to Godhead, full knowledge of the material and spiritual world has become available via the Srimad Bhagavatam. For this reason, the Srimad Bhagavatam's description of the Earth-circle must now become the point of emphasis regarding any further preaching to the rest of the world about the true shape and size of the Earth, as well as our purpose upon it. Instead of members of ISKCON being dictated to by the shriveled atheistic world-view of so-called scientists regarding the nature of the Earth, the followers of Srila Prabhupada must be encouraged to unravel the false science, illusions, untruths, and deceptions supporting the non-Vedic idea that the Earth is a globe-shaped planet floating in space. As we proceed into the era of Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's universal sankirtan movement, we have every reason to believe that contact with the rest of the Bhu-mandala will be resumed. As is evident from the verses below, contact with the rest of the Earth has been on going—albiet covertly.
"The inhabitants of the seven higher planetary systems—including the demigods, the Gandharvas and the Kinnaras—and the inhabitants of the seven lower planetary systems [Patalaloka], including the demons and serpentine living entities, all visited Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu in the dress of human beings." (CC Antya-lila 9.8)
"Dressed in different ways, people from the seven islands (sapta-dwipa) and nine khandas (nava-khanda) visited Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu." (Caitanya-caritamrta Antya-lila 9.9)
As we enter the age of transcendence, the factual existence of other civilizations upon the larger Earth plane, as well as the various forms of life both above and below the great Earth circle will become evident to all. For the last several hundred years, the asuras have presented a maya-bhumi in the form of the Earth-globe, and have kept people in a limited understanding of both material and spiritual reality. As we proceed into the era of Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's golden age of hari-nama sankirtan, the truth of Sri-Krishna, and the truth of His creation will manifest. According to Sri Nityananda Prabhu the age of transcendence will be marked by the completion of the adbuta mandira* in Mayapur, India. As the Temple of Vedic Planetarium nears completion, it is more than coincidental that the entire world together has been suddenly brought together in a most unexpected manner. In the guise of safe-guarding the world from a deadly pandemic, the self-named New World Order has imposed its dictatorship upon an unsuspecting public. Unbeknown to the asuras, however, the Covid19 pandemic marks the beginning of the end of the satanic system. The good news is that once people gradually realize what is really going on, the entire world together will be able to recognise their common enemy.
*Sri Nityananda Prabhu has proclaimed that a magnificent temple (adbuta mandir) would be built in Sri-dhama Mayapur which would broadcast the eternal devotional service of Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu around the world:
Eka adbhuta mandir hoibe prakasa
Gauranga-nityaseva hoibe bikasa
All glories to Srila Prabhupada!
(To be continued...)
