May 01, 2011 VRINDAVAN, INDIA (SUN) Dear Friends, Jai Govinda! Our May 2011 Care for Cows Newsletter has been posted. Please review it at your earliest convenience. In this edition of 22 pages (1.6 MB), we present reports on:
1. The tragic loss of Padmalochana, the founding member of Care for Cows and
leader of the herd.
2. A brief statement about cow protection exploring sustainability.
3. A teen-age girl from Germany who bonded with her cow and trained her to
behave like a horse. While we do not condone this type of training, the
article demonstrates the wonderful nature and character of cows. One could
conclude that cows have the ability to put aside their preferred behavior
and make sacrifices to please loving caretakers.
4. The three calves born this month.
Thanks for your participation and support. I hope this finds you
experiencing the happiness and inner satisfaction that accompanies cow
protection. Jaya Sri Gopal!

sides of me. May I always reside in the midst of cows.
