Prahlad's Protector

In the course of our short journey in this dangerous material world, we naturally feel the need for protection---Krsna … in the form of anger as Lord Nrsinghadev came to protect His fully surrendered devotee, Pralad from the unspeakable cruelty of his father… and we all know His name!

Krsna alone will guide us and direct us toward Him, no doubt, but this special pastime is eternally celebrated as the sunum bonum of Krsna's protective promise.

We will be celebrating this eternal pastime on Saturday, May 5th. Please come and help us celebrate with song, recitation and dance. Festivities will begin at 1 pm. with bhajan and snacks for the cows, maybe even a hay wagon ride to the barn and back.

The planting is in full swing here, and not only vegetables etc, but several fruits, nuts, grapes and berries have been planted. Murari is set to blossom…not only spiritually, but with a multitude of fruits and flowers that are perennial, meaning simply they come back each year with greater and greater production (like we hope of all of us). All of this must be nicely in place so Radha and Krsna will come.

Murari, the Lord, is guiding us to the much needed development that will facilitate needful souls that want to take shelter here. With your steady participation we are gradually making this most important project take shape.

The cows are just wonderful, and getting more and more affectionate as we grow with them. The land is pouring out its natural wonders, as we are also growing, and learning how to receive these gifts.

Please bring your favorite preps to offer to Pralad's Lord…. Prasad will be served at the end… Hare Krsna.

Our next big outreach event will be Bonaroo music festival… we would love everyone to come and help with this effort, either here at Murari or make a day to come to Bonaroo. The date is June 7, a Thursday, thru June the 10th. Please make a note of this on your schedules. I will be sending out a list of needed items for making this Bonaroo the best so far… if nicely planned we can not only bring in some lost souls to Krsna, but also some nice Laxmi to help with this project.
