New Temple Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony

On the auspicious day of Aksaya Tritya on April 24, 2012, the foundation stone of Sri Sri Radha Gopinath Temple was laid by HH Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaj (GBC & BBT Trustee) on 4.5 Acres of land in Ludhiana. HG Rakshanath das, President of Sri Sri Radha Gopinath Temple Committee, told that this is one of the biggest temples of North India.
Temple construction will be completed in three years by the mercy of Lord Krishna and Srila Prabhupada. This temple will be second of its kind in Ludhiana (Punjab) run by ISKCON. This temple will include Deities worship hall, Govinda restaurant, Bhaktivedanta Academy, Guest house, Library, Prasadam hall, garden and much more.
Special mandaps were constructed on a raised platform where the ceremonies were performed. Offering of Vedic hymns, singing of Mahamantra dhun accompanied by harmonium, kartals and mridangas had the devotees clapping and singing in ecstasy.
Apart from others who were present on this occasion were HG Rajsuya das (TP), HG Narottamanad das(Co-TP), HG Sakshi Gopal das (TP Kurukshetra) and devotees from Sridham Vrindavan. This ceremony was concluded with the distribution of prasadam.
