Usually we preach about the Supreme Power of Godhead (Lord Krishna) in different ways to different sections of society by our own means and way through Kirtan, lectures, visiting door to door, etc. In this way we only preach to limited sections of society. But in reality, we don't cover a hundred percent of the people in general. No doubt we succeeded in emphasizing them to make them spiritualist. As we all know, the majority of the people are indulged in materialist life and sometimes we have to face big problems to get them out from this materialistic world. Even then we succeeded in changing their life style.
Every human being has seed of Bhakti in their bodies but we only need to water it so that it starts to grow and slowly slowly it becomes a Hari Naam shaped big tree. We only need to water it by the means of chanting Mahamantra (Hare Krishna , Hare Krishna, Krishna, Krishna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare. This is all we do for so called good citizens. But still on the other hand there are people whom we are still ignoring, for one reason or the other. Here I am focusing your attention about the people who are in Prison.
In reality we all are prisoners in this world. But the only difference between actual prisoners and us is that the so called actual prisoners are on the inside of the prison and the rest are outside the prison. In reality, we all are prisoners in this world. The prisoners are also a part of our society and hence we should not ignore them. Our society (International Society for Krishna Consciousness) ISKCON, is making every possible effort to preach to the people even in the hidden places like prison, so that when the prisoners will be set free they must be spiritual and never do the sinful activities in their life.
These people deserve more to be preached to. For example, the doctor only first attends the serious patients, and the rest later. In the same way we must preach first to the such people because they are actually seriously troubled. We appeal to all the devotees
worldwide to start this type of preaching program so the preaching must touch one hundred percent coverage. Hare Krishna
