Dec 24, 2013 — USA (SUN) — Have a Holly Jolly X-mas ISKCON Vancouver, at your Christmas celebration, in complete violation of everything the Founder-Acharya taught and stood for. But as long as you are gathering an indiscriminating and confused crowd of guests who do not know what the difference is between the essence of real religion as self-surrender and service to the Supreme Lord Shri Krishna and a mindless, sinful religious cult, then I have a suggestion for you. Play them some familiar tunes with words that can wake up the world. Play them the wonderful Christmas album of His Grace Shriman Yama Niyama das Brahmachary of Ukraine. It seems that on the other side of the pond there are devotees who have seen through the mindless rituals that Americans and Canadians have made out of Christmas: the meat-eating, intoxication, useless consumer products as gifts and finally, complete forgetfulness of the Supreme Lord and His representatives who sacrifice their very lives for the sake of teaching pure love of God.
So go ahead and listen to the hit song “Yamaraja Is Coming to Town”, and be sure to let your karmi guests know that in very short order the sinful way they celebrate the birth of their savior is going to land them into the very fires of hell that they fear so much. Go ahead, Prabhus. You refused to listen when Shrila Prabhupada gave his life for your enlightenment, in just the same way that Christians have refused to understand the example of Jesus Christ. But maybe there are some in the Hare Krishna Movement yet who see through your smokey clouds of Christmas Maya.
