Sri Krishna Blends His Flute

Words inspired from Srila Visvanatha Cakravati Thakur's 'Sarartha Darsani', chapter 21, text 1-6

Chirping birds and buzzing bees
Sri Krishna blends His flute to please
The Lord of spring enters the Autumn groves
The cowherd girls that hear that sound
Relay the messages to friends they've found
In meditation where are their hearts? no one knows
Trying to convey some words to a friend
Overwhelmed hearts their tongues won't lend
To speak of peacock feathers
And Karnikara flowers on ears
Or the yellow garment flash of gold,
The Vaijayanti garland that swings and holds
The beautiful three fold bending form that nears
Purposely dressed in an artful way to charm
The youthful Boy with friends arm in arm
Enters the majestic forests scented so sweet
With our minds and hearts with Sadhus who grasp
In deep devotion and dedication that lasts
We aspire to gracefully follow, serve their desires
To bring this Glorious site indeed
Within the hearts of all that need
This is Mahaprabhu's mercy turning from shadowing maya
