Vanaprasta Ashram...???

I read and appreciated the recent article by Caitanya das.
Yes… I agree… in a sane ISKCON society it would make perfect sense.
The children have grown up and flown the nest leaving mum and dad free to downsize and become more committed to the mission.
However...
ISKCON is no longer a sane institution,
proven as we regularly hear or read about the mess created by the "ultimate managerial authority" sometimes referred to as the GBC.
Consequently...
we have a scenario where by virtue of our vanaprastas being older and somewhat wiser to the goings on within the ISKCON institution
they may NOT be made welcome by the management to participate.
The ISKCON management does not appreciate the concept of independently thoughtful people.
For one...
the management… as it is... does not take criticism lightly,
even if it is given with the best of intentions... so it's goodbye to you...
please close the door as you leave.
We want new unquestioning fresh blood willing to swear an oath of blind allegiance to the management.
Secondly…
would anyone in their right mind want to support an institution that has so many dysfunctional dynamics?
I don't think I need to list them again…
I'm sure you're bored of repetition.
And so...
this great wealth of combined talent and experience collectively gained over many years... is wasted.
A sad state of affairs.
However...
This doesn't mean that vanaprastas cannot network amongst themselves and carry on regardless...
and that...
is exactly what's happening.
