Gay Charade

The gay parade is an effort, by those affected with the condition, to have their perverted practices legitimized and accepted by the society. And allowing it to happen, as if it was something to celebrate, is a clear result of the bewilderment of those in charge, the elected leaders and those who control them from behind the scene due to their ignorance of, and therefore disrespect for, the existence of the God's Law as well as the ignorance of its causes.

Those who are willing to watch the parade, out of their own ignorance, clearly participate in it by enabling it to take place because if there were no spectators there would be no purpose for such a charade to go on.

Therefore despite their best intentions, the devotees, by going to this charade, help to legitimize its purpose in the eyes of the very those they are trying to help.

The power of the Holy Name is no doubt unlimited when heard with due attention. The attention during such a charade is turned elsewhere.

Because the spiritual education is practically non existent in the West, we cannot make any comparison with India of Lord Caitanya's times. Therefore, to bring the karmi's focus to the subject first, Srila Prabhupada instructed to distribute his books, together with the performance of the Harinam-Sankirtan.

The homosexuality is revealed in the Vedas as a karmic reaction by the material nature brought about by the affected individuals' own efforts to gratify their senses, "...which include the mind..." beyond their own quota by deviant and twisted sexual activities in their past lifetimes. Being a result of the Laws of Nature as the expression of God's Supreme Will, such a perverted state can never be legitimized in the eyes of the Supreme Person because such activities are directly opposed to His injunctions upon those aspiring for His causeless mercy which, contrary to opinion of the ill informed, has to be, one way or another, deserved.

Even a few years ago it would have been unimaginable for such a Hari-nam to take place because the inappropriateness of it was still understood within the movement due to Srila Prabhupada's purports, that have the power to transform the readers' understanding of Reality into the unconquerable fortress. With all the illegal changes and resulting deviations though, the bewilderment is slowly setting in.

Let's not forget that after being disgusted with the foolishness of the contemporary culture and with the watered down earthly religions with very little of spiritual insight to offer its followers to counteract the world's growing degradation, we all were attracted by the absolute spiritual purity and the unfathomable depth of the revelations contained within the Vedic sastras and Srila Prabhupada's purports. Once this memory becomes overpowered by our willingness to conform to the ever growing foolishness of today's society then, as the Lord Himself warns "....when memory is bewildered, intelligence is lost, and when intelligence is lost one falls down again into the material pool." And once in there it's only natural in such a state of polluted consciousness and clouded understanding to view Srila Prabhupada's fully transcendental perspective and his revealing statements as controversial.
