Phale-na pariciyate

Aug 16, AUSTRALIA (SUN) "Everything must be judged by the result."
Take an army of one guru's disciples, add a few stalwart disciples of another (new kid on the block) guru, throw in some handfuls of followers of some not-as-glamorous gurus, and what do we have?
We clearly have and can judge, the results of an overwhelming Great Guru Hoax, perpetrated since 1977.
Amongst this chaotic madness, small groups have formed. Each group imagines their guru to be better than those of the other disciples. Of course, they do not speak openly about this, but secretly they discuss such nonsense, and behavior confirms it.
Each group (using Srila Prabhupada's position), under the banner of their guru's "personal project", has set-up various income streams that benefit their guru rather than the Society as a Whole.
The first hurdle for any ISKCON newcomer is to navigate through reports, sightings, and confirmations regarding miracles about the person he or she is obliged to choose as "The one"!
All the while as this is being played out, lurking in the background are Srila Prabhupada's books, His instructions for spiritual life which are pre-requisites to be followed by the ISKCON newcomer anyway.
Rather than using Srila Prabhupada's philosophy to get position, control, and enjoy, why not simply give Srila Prabhupada, in the first place, "No strings attached"?
Could ISKCON's hierarchy be scared of the results of such a process?
