"I Have Never Abused Anyone"

In response to the most recent article from Bhakti Vikas Swami…
I am obliged to say...
I have yet to hear or see any reference from Srila Prabhupada wherein He gave explicit instructions that children were to be made to grasp their ankles while an adult administers a public flogging.
Perhaps I'm wrong… so I'd be grateful to you if you could provide some reference.
In the case of Bhakti Vidyapurna Swami, we are told he would very kindly give the chosen child the choice of which stick to be used in the application of a beating... how very thoughtful and considerate.
Somehow the words sadistic and perverse come to mind.
I remember very well as a child watching another child being publicly and mercilessly beaten by 2 teachers...
the boy's crime was that he was too poor to afford a proper school bag.
The chosen victim was also a social misfit.
After 50+ years I can still vividly remember it to this very day.
Sadistic nasty brutal people supposedly "teaching".
And so we came to ISKCON.
The positive alternative.
The embassy to the spiritual world.
Now…
usually the ISKCON Child Protection Office doesn't come knocking on one's door unless they have to.
But in the case of Bhakti Vidyapurna Swami they did.
The results of that visit can be viewed at KrishnaChildren.com.
As one can see...
allegations of defamation of character are hardly an issue when one sees the factual history with evidence.
But Bhakti Vidyapurna Swami would have us believe he is innocent.
In fact...
only several years ago…
at Bhaktivedanta Manor...
while sitting on the vyasasana in the temple room in front of the Deities and Srila Prabhupada...
he stated...
"I have never abused anyone".
It's on tape and can be heard on The Cost of Silence
a documentary about child abuse in ISKCON.

Surely...
considering the ISKCON CPO files on Bhakti Vidyapurna Swami leaves one questioning his credibility.
After all...
Bhakti Vidyapurna Swami is a "good as God"
Diksa guru.
He is also considered a sannyasi, although according to the ISKCON CPO files he has on occasion watched young girls bathe.
But Bhakti Vikasa Swami would have us believe that Bhakti Vidyapurna Swami was only performing his noble duty.
That there was no other option but to beat the children.
That the children were the problem, NOT the teacher.
Even though Srila Prabhupada said on many other occasions…

"Don't beat the children".

And…

"Those who beat the children... they should be beaten"

And so in conclusion, using the same
argumentum ad baculam
quoted by Bhakti Vidyapurna Swami and repeated by Bhakti Vikas Swami...
and using the above quote from Srila Prabhupada...
one can safely assume that we too should perform our noble duty.
Let us also show our mercy to Bhakti Vidyapurna Swami.

Better choose your stick carefully, maharaja.
