Apr 04, 2011 — GAINESVILLE, FLORIDA, USA (SUN) — The Gainesville Krsna lunch center/temple makes new bhaktas on the average lately of practically one per week. Chaitanya dasi, Balaba Sena's wife is very active in this regard. She is like a new bhakta magnet. The center follows full morning programs and has evening activities for devotees nightly. Occasionally after evening arotik on Saturday eve, they have a kirtan party lasting till 1am.
The roof is definitely lifted and all are smiling ear to ear throughout the eve. Opulent prasadam is available free all evening on the front porch, where late Krsna lunch is also served from 2 to 4 pm. Monday thru Fridays, when the university is holding classes.
Regular Krsna lunch is served on campus at U of Florida from 11:30 till 1:30pm. 44 All you can eat, which includes salad, salad dressing made with nutritional yeast, subji, rice, sometimes dhal, and always a different flavour of halava. The whole affair is master minded by Sunanda prabhu (ACBSP).
Hanan prabhu, the manager, now leads a noon Sunday program each week, which is also loved by all attendees. It starts at noon, leaving room for them to go to the Alachua temple Sunday Feast.
