Liars and Cheaters are Qualified to be GBCs
and Gurus

Mar 09, 2011 DALLAS, TEXAS, USA (SUN) Thank you Krishnasmaran Prabhu for speaking out. We need more people like you to speak out to help other devotees to open up their eyes instead of having tight lipped silence.
In your article "Romapada Swami Tries to Discredit Bhakti Tirtha Maharaj", you write about how Romapada lied again and again in front of Bhakti Tirtha Swami and two other devotees. You write:
"How an ISKCON GBC-sannyasi-guru such as Romapada Maharaj can show no respect for even the basic qualities of a brahmana, such as truthfulness, is very surprising and bewildering. Srila Prabhupada writes that a brahmana or sannyasi should be straightforward in all his dealings. He should be straightforward in dealing even with an enemy, what to speak of with a godbrother like Bhakti Tirtha Swami. If someone who is supposed to be a guru in ISKCON casually uses lies in ordinary dealings, how can they turn around and then promise their disciples that they can take them back to Godhead? We expect much from a devotee of Krishna or initiated brahmana. We expect much more from a GBC representative, and even more from someone who the ISKCON GBC promotes as a guru."
I do not know in which world Krishnasmaran has been living since the last 35 years or so. He should have known a long time ago that in ISKCON, it is an exception to find a truthful and honest GBC or Guru. As a general rule "Liars and Cheaters are Qualified to be GBCs and Gurus" and such creatures are selected, promoted, and kept in those positions even when they are found to be homosexuals, child abusers, womanizers, liars, murderers, embezzlers, etc.
Now taking one step further, if someone accused Bhakti Tirtha of being a liar, cheater, and many other things and he was found to be so, then would Krishnasmarana believe it?
In Zambia one gentleman made arrangement for 20 devotees to live on his 100 acre farm. After settling in, Bhakti Tirtha and his party started telling the owner not to come to the farm. Their intention was to steal the farm, which was given to them for use only and as a help. The owner recognized their evil intention and he asked them several times to vacate the farm, but Bhakti Tirtha and his party would not move out, and instead threatened the owner. Then one day the owner showed up with a few "tough guys" and told Bhakti Tirtha's party to move out of the farm or get their bones smashed. They chose to move out.
Would Krishnasmarana now judge Bhakti Tirtha, and how? A Saint or Swindler? It is a well known fact that Bhakti Tirtha had a soft corner for child molesters and rapists, and cared little for their victims.
Now going back to Krishnasmarana's point:
"We expect much more from a GBC representative, and even more from someone who the ISKCON GBC promotes as a guru."
So why are such rotten apples who can't even be truthful kept as Gurus and GBCs by THE GBC? What does it say about THE GBC BODY? Is it an assembly of Saints or Swindlers? You decide.
The main business of the GBC (most are Gundas, Bandits, and Crooks) is to appoint, promote, and cover-up Rouges, Thugs, and Rascals as Gurus and GBCs, while stamping devotees as "Senior Devotee" or "Devotee in Good Standing", whereas they themselves are not in "Good Standing". ISKCON is full of such creatures.
As soon as you apply the rule, "One Must Be Truthful" to be a leader in ISKCON, then you will find that GBC and Guru Clubs will go out of existence, since those (either cowards and/or selfish) who cover-up for liars or stay quiet about liars are disqualified as leaders as well.
Wishing All of You Well,
