ISKCON Leaders – Shameless Naked Sons of Kuver
BY: GADADHAR DAS
Feb 16, 2012 DALLAS, TEXAS, USA (SUN) The reference for this article is Krsna Book Chapter 10, 'Deliverance of Nalakuvar and Manigriv'. In Chapter 7, 'Salvation of Trnavarta', HDG Srila Prabhupada gives a description of qualified brahmanas:
"The brahmanas who were present at that time were all qualified because they were not envious; they never indulged in untruthfulness, they were never proud, they were nonviolent, and they never claimed any false prestige."
However, ISKCON leaders have been found to be envious, liars and cheaters, puffed up pretenders, merciless and violent womanizers, abusers/molesters of children, and filled with false prestige. Their management history of the last 35 years proves all these assertions without doubt.
They are kings without clothes as their misdeeds are known to many, but they remain shameless and continue their demoniac management, exploiting/wasting the institution's resources – men, women, children, money etc. -- and continue to pretend to be rajarshis.
Why are these leaders behaving in this thoughtless manner? Well, they are thoughtless, they are foolish, they are puffed up, they are overcome with false prestige. Otherwise, why would they hurt women and children instead of protecting them, which is their job?
They have become Kali Chelas, as perfectly described in the following dialog:
The Personality of Kali offered riddles to be solved and Yudhisthira Maharaja, the Personification of Dharma replied:
Kali: A scare crow was standing in a field, but instead of protecting the crops, he began to eat them. What does it mean?
Yudhisthira Maharaj: In the age of Kali, those who are meant to protect the citizens will exploit them.
Kali: From the eye of a needle, the whole elephant was able to pass but only his tail got stuck. What does it mean?
Yudhisthira Maharaj: In the age of Kali all big criminals will escape freely but small criminals will be caught and punished.
Why have they become Kali Chelas? The answer is, they are filled with false prestige and claim to be owners of ISKCON instead of being its servant.
Lord Krishna tells Nalakuvar and Manigriva:
"It was already known to Me that My great devotee-sage Narada had shown his causeless mercy by saving you from the abominable condition of pride due to possessing extraordinary beauty and opulence in the family of the demigods. He has saved you from gliding down into the lowest condition of hellish life. All these facts are already known to Me. You are very fortunate because you were not only cursed by him, but you had the great opportunity to see him. If someone is able, by chance, to see a great saintly person like Narada face to face, who is always serene and merciful to everyone, then immediately that conditioned soul becomes liberated. This is exactly like being situated in the full light of the sun: there cannot be any visionary impediment."
So if we say Srila Prabhupada is a great saintly person like Narada Muni, then surely ISKCON leaders will be saved, as they have not only seen Srila Prabhupada but they have served him as well.
Then the question arises, why are these so-called sincere followers (they claim to be so) of Srila Prabhupada behaving in such an irresponsible and shameless way? Where is their change of heart, having seen and served such a maha-bhagavat Devotee?
The answer is, their hearts are still filled with false prestige despite having seen and served a maha-bhagavat devotee. Read below more about rich man, poor man, and false prestige.
One may acquire false prestige due to material opulence – wealth, strength, beauty, fame, knowledge, renunciation, birth in good family, education, some power or position, or due to thoughtlessness – the pauper is proud of his penny.
They are filled with anarthas.
Youth, wealth, power/position, and thoughtless behavior – even one of them can be the cause of great anartha, what to speak of when one has all four.
They are busy praising each other, like camels and asses praising each other.
ushtranam grahe lagnam, gardabhaha shanty pathakaha
parasparm prashasasanti, aho rupam aho dhvani
One there was a marriage at the house of the camels, and donkey was invited as priest to perform the peace ceremony. Donkey praised the beauty of the camels, and the camels praised the sweet voice of the donkey.
Srila Prabhupada writes extensively about rich man, considerate and compassionate poor man, and false prestige. Below are some quotes:
"When a man is infatuated with the false prestige of opulence, he does not care for any moral instruction but indulges in wine, women and animal-killing. In such circumstances, a poverty-stricken man is often better situated because a poor man thinks of himself in relation to other bodies. A poor man often does not wish to inflict injuries to other bodies because he can understand more readily that when he himself is injured he feels pain. As such, the great sage Narada considered that because the demigods Nalakuvara and Manigriva were so infatuated by false prestige, they should be put into a condition of life devoid of opulence.
A person who has a pinprick in his body does not wish others to be pricked by pins; a considerate man in the life of poverty does not wish others to be also put into that condition. Generally it is seen that one who has risen from a poverty-stricken life and becomes wealthy creates some charitable institution at the end of his life so that other poverty-stricken men might be benefited. In short, a compassionate poor man may consider others' pains and pleasures with empathy. A poor man may be seldom puffed with false pride, and he may be freed from all kinds of infatuation. He may remain satisfied by whatever he gets for his maintenance by the grace of the Lord.
To remain in the poverty-stricken condition is a kind of austerity. According to Vedic culture, therefore, the brahmanas, as a matter of routine, keep themselves in a poverty-stricken condition to save themselves from the false prestige of material opulence. False prestige due to advancement of material prosperity is a great impediment for spiritual emancipation. A poverty-stricken man cannot become unnaturally fat by eating more and more. And on account of not being able to eat more than he requires, his senses are not very turbulent. When the senses are not very turbulent, he cannot become violent."
I do not know what curse HDG Srila Prabhupada has in store to save GBC members and other so-called sincere followers who pretend to be rajarshis, but act worse than the "Shameless Naked Sons of Kuver".
The point to consider is that two or three men may go wrong, but how can group of 30 or more go wrong? How could they all go wrong time and again? Surely it is a gang of Kali Chela Mafias.
Bhagavad-gita Chapter 2, Verse 71:
vihaya kaman yah sarvan
pumams carati nihsprhah
nirmamo nirahankarah
sa santim adhigacchati
"A person who has given up all desires for sense gratification, who lives free from desires, who has given up all sense of proprietorship and is devoid of false ego--he alone can attain real peace."
Those who are in such a peaceful state of mind can lead. Others will exploit and create disturbance and destruction.
